Pro­cee­dings

Each presentation within SheMet 2025 must be presented by a paper within the proceedings of the conference.

The proceedings of SheMet 2025 will be published as an issue of Materials Research Proceedings published by MaterialsResearchForum LLC. The papers will be published OPEN ACCESS

The journal has the following ISSN: 2474-3941 (print), ISSN 2474-395X (online). It is currently indext by CPCI, Scopus, Google Scholar, Inspec database, CAS and others. Your publication will thus be very visible and easy to share.

Therefor full paper peer reviews are mandatory for all contributions that are to be accepted and published within the proceedings. With respect to this requirement the schedule, that has yet to be announced, has to be kept very strictly. There will be no extension of deadlines for paper submission. All times are Central European Time (CET, Berlin).

 

  • All papers have to formatted according to the provided Template.
  • Every paper has to be written in excellent English.
  • All papers must be written and after acceptance provided in MS Word.
  • Every paper has a lenght of either 6 or 8 pages using the formatting of the template.
  • All papers will have to include three keywords. The first two of theses will have be be chosen from the CIRP Unified Keyword List.
  • Authors are not required to sign copryright form. Authors who wish to publish a paper are asked to submit a paper only if all authors of the

Awards

Best Paper Award
  • Prize: 300,- €
  • Participation: You participate by submitting a paper.
  • The decision will be made based on the reviewing results.
  • The winner will be announced during the conference

Best Presentation Award
  • Prize: 300,- €
  • Participation:
    • You make a 3 minute (NO LONGER) video advertising your presentation.
    • Tell people why they should visit your presentation.
    • You contact the conference office to provide the video to us using this link.
    • By submitting the video you agree that it will be published on this website, being freely accessable by anybody.
    • Submission is possible after acceptance of the paper until XX, 2025.
  • The decision will be made based on these videos.
  • The winner will be announced during the conference

 

In­struc­ti­ons for Pre­sen­ters

  • Each oral presentation will take 25 minutes including discussion.

  • The files required for the presentation (PowerPoint or PDF) should be uploaded, and tested to ensure compatibility, during the coffee or lunch breaks before the beginning of the session.

  • The lecture rooms contain a Windows PC, with Office and Acrobat PDF Reader, connected to a data projector. The use of personal computers is not recommended.

  • Technical support will be provided on-site by the  SheMet staff to ensure a smooth delivery of all presentations.

  • No more than one oral presentation can be delivered per each registered author.
